HOW TO STOP OVERTHINKING
Living in our society today, it becomes very challenging to maintain a healthy balance in our body and our mind. The key to cultivating an active body is to maintain an active mind, and the key to maintaining an active mind is to cultivate an active body. In the Yoga practice, this is a state of Sattva in which you are neither aggressive and quick paced (Rajasic), nor functioning in a dull and slow pace (Tamasic), rather you are in between and balanced. Aggressive and quick results often lead to burnouts and burnouts leading one to a Tamasic state and require aggressive Rajasic behavior to pull them back up. This cycle continues on and on throughout our lives leading us in a constant cycle of imbalance which brings us malfunction and suffering. Through the Yoga practice, we are able to train our mind and body with full awareness of balance, stability, and healing. The practice helps to decode unwanted behavior and habits replacing them with ones that create a Satvic state of mind.
